That’s why our early career programs are designed to provide a variety of growth, mentorship, and development opportunities to help you explore different career paths and find the role where you can make the biggest impact.
Our programs
Internship Program
Our internship program lasts 10-12 weeks, and is a great way for students to apply their skills, gain experience and help unlock their professional potential. In addition to the hands-on work experience they’ll get day-to-day, GM provides professional development programming, networking opportunities with GM leaders, and more!
Co-Op Program
Typically lasting 3-6 months, GM partners with participating universities to provide students with working opportunities that complement their in-class training. This program balances classroom theory with periods of practical, hands-on experience prior to graduation.
Recent Grads/Entry Level Programs
Whether through direct employment or entry-level rotational (TRACK) opportunities, GM offers early career development opportunities for new hires designed to build foundational skills and offer greater exposure & understanding of our business. Our interview and hiring process follows 4 basic steps
Apply
Search available positions, and once you’ve found a fit, submit your completed application online.
Assess
After applying, you will be screened for the necessary qualifications. If you meet qualifications, you may be asked to complete an assessment.
Interview
If you continue to the next phase, an interview will be scheduled with you.
Offer
At the completion of the interview process, the most qualified candidate will be identified and job offer will be extended. You will then be asked to complete a background check.
