What’s the best part about life at GM?
It’s hard to pick one thing, but I would say GM’s involvement in the community. It starts from the top. Our senior leaders strongly support community service and encourage us to spend time helping improve our communities by making lots of opportunities available.
What’s my day look like?
As a Corporate Giving professional, It varies. I could be in meetings with colleagues, meeting with community partners or planning events.
What’s been my most exciting project to date?
The Grow Cody Rouge project, a volunteerism initiative for Detroit’s Cody Rouge community. It’s been refreshing to be a part of a project that truly improves the lives of others. Seeing students smile because of school improvements or elderly residents happy because of neighborhood improvements is so rewarding.
