ADAS/AD Lead SW Architect

Additional responsibilities include:
- Coordination and integration of engineering information.

- Lead engineering feasibility activities, physical and math models, for a specific compartment.

- Work with engineering to create Engineering requirements to support the Studio design.

- Confirm packaging requirements are feasible and balance with Studio Design direction.

- Perform complex assignments requiring a wider application of principles, theories and concepts.

- Participate in Engineering / Program Meetings.

- Lead multi-functional meetings to resolve daily working issues and publish meeting minutes.

- Craft concepts and develop proposals to resolve issues.

- Generates trade matrices to study alternatives while considering impacts such as customer satisfaction, cost, mass, timing, design for assembly, dimensional variation and other program imperatives.

- Document open issues, status and closure.

- Utilize Corporate Best Practices; challenge them when needed to meet styled surface or customer requirements.

- Understands the Global Vehicle Development Process.

- Stays ahead of current product developments and trends in area of responsibility.

- Shares lessons learned with team members.

Additional Description

Responsibilities:

·         Lead ADAS/AD SW architecture and interfacing between different ECUs and Modules to provide a full architectural solution for that domain

·         Develop SW architecture to meet functional safety, cybersecurity and other automotive standards

·         Develop high level software architecture, including defining the safety and control data flows

·         Perform AI SOC evaluation and benchmarking

·         Responsible for verifying that the software architecture design meets all derived software requirements (performance, throughput/latency)

·         Lead and collaborate on all phases of the development life cycle(requirement, design, coding, unit test, integration, system level testing)

·         Work in an agile development environment

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

·         5+ years of Software Architect work experience

·         5+ years of embedded C/C++ programming experience

·         2+ years of Multi-core Microprocessor experience

·         2+ years of Automotive industry work experience

·         2+ years of Active Safety Domain experience

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

·         Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

·         8+ years of Software Architect work experience

·         AutoSAR experience

·         Linux experience

·         CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and tools experience

·         ISO26262 Functional safety experience

·         Cybersecurity experience

·         Experience with Nvidia processors

·         Experience with Qualcomm processors

·         Excellent communication / presentation skills

·         Embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, serial data tools, etc.)

·         Embedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers, etc.)

Software testing and debugging experience
