About the role:

BrightDrop is looking for customer-obsessed, nimble Product Managers who have a passion for building life-changing products.  PMs will work collaboratively in agile teams to create new products that do not yet exist in the Last Mile Delivery space. Access to advanced technologies and the autonomy to challenge convention creates the recipe for an exciting, fast-paced environment and energetic work culture.  This is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to innovate and scale products that you build from the ground up.  We are looking for experienced PMs who are ready to rise to the occasion and excited to tackle a significant problem.

This Principal Product Manager will own the product strategy and roadmap for BrightDrop’s Perishables Products. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the customer problem space across both large and small players in various industries with perishables focus, and identifying opportunities for BrightDrop to introduce new solutions
  • Creating and owning the business case for the Perishables product, thinking through product offering, pricing, and go-to-market approach   
  • Creating and owning the product strategy and roadmap using qualitative and quantitative data, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders to that plan
  • Generating requirements to address key customer pain points in a holistic, customer-centric manner, and partnering with subject matter experts to ensure applicability of solution(s)
  • Overseeing the design and development of the Perishables product, collaborating with engineers and designers to bring the requirements to life
  • Exhibiting analytical prowess through setting success metrics and creating the analytical backbone for your product
  • Integrating the Perishables offering effectively with other product offerings within the BrightDrop portfolio

Additional Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, with focus on developing a grocery/perishables-based last mile product for both pickup and delivery
  • Expert analytical know-how
  • Strong attention to detail, love for establishing structure in ambiguity and bias to action
  • Startup experience preferred, MBA or Engineering graduate degree a plus
