Job Description

  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish a successful launch plan and successful launch execution.
  • Lead program management activities throughout all phases of system development and system launch.
  • Interface with vehicle program teams, Engineering, Finance, and other key stakeholders for timing plan and budget management.
  • Provide technical and program management leadership to coordinate troubleshooting activities.
  • Act as first-level escalation point of contact to remove roadblocks.
  • Collaborate and strategize with Global General Motors employees and our Joint Venture Partners.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Counsels and advises leadership.
  • Travel as required.
  • Global clock availability.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Software engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Chinese).
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Vehicle program launch experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GVDP timing and key engineering milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability of “dealing with ambiguity” to enable timely decision making.
  • Strong understanding of business and processes.
