Contribute to seeding the accurate brand message across the global organization, dealerships, media outlets, agencies, etc.
- Ensure that all creative marketing materials adhere to strict brand guidelines.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to gain marketing insights and uncover key consumer insights and competitive opportunities.
- Brainstorm and develop creative marketing campaigns for various GM products including vehicles, accessories, parts, services, etc.
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
- Maintain and update corporate creative content.
- Build and manage relationships both internally and externally i.e.; CRM, agencies, GM partners, etc.
- Undertake related tasks as assigned.
Additional Description
The role is expected to drive GMPI awareness and social buzz, elevating brand affinity/engagement in digital and social platforms with a rapid business expansion in China. As a strategic pillar under marketing function, manage brand-own media development to ensure organic fans growth and engagement, deliver related digital marketing initiatives led by marketing team, generate real connection with consumers, define solutions with strategic media partners and new battlefields to both improve brand influence and serve category and business needs. Become a valuable source for digital content provider for regional marketing adoption and adaption.
Responsibilities

In charge of paid media strategy and budget to drive qualitative traffic generate community members.

Drive strong integrated media proposals by aiming to be the benchmark the whole industry, from paid-owned-earned perspective

Develop smart, insight-driven strategy and well-articulated media plans to meet marketing objectives, as well as overseeing the subsequent negotiation, implementation and performance analysis

Manage integrated media strategy, serving as the key point of contact for relevant stakeholders

Actively manage campaigns and goals, including but not limited to user engagement, leads acquisitions and brand awareness

Demonstrate a strong understanding in core media across all media channels, including digital channel and car vertical media

Partner with brand team, making long-term and creative media cooperation, creating brand awareness and social buzz
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business or related fields,. Proficient in English writing and speaking.

8+ years of experience in a media/social planning role, with exceptional knowledge in digital buying.

Deep expertise and passion of Paid, Owned, Earned, aspects of Digital marketing and how it fits as part of on overall, integrated marketing mix.

Strong financial acuity and budget leadership skills

Understanding of data-led media practices (e.g. programmatic, audience management) with hands on experience a plus

Deep understanding of media campaign planning processes including planning, briefing, executing, measurement, reporting and socializing significant brand and business takeaways

Confirmed initiative and ability to work independently and as apart from a larger, matrixed team

Experiences in automobile, FMCG, internet/tech and luxury brand
