Act as a liaison between GM, it's dealerships, or IAM stores

Facilitating mentoring and consulting to ensure monthly / yearly sales and service objectives are met

Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies

Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, IAMs and GM

Build and manage relationships

Monitor personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives

Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory balancing

Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities

Increase sales of GM vehicles and parts to its customers

Assist in customer problem resolution

Performs other related duties as assigned

Additional Description

Sales Planning Manager

This position is to ensure accurate local volume planning, better steering of target achievement.

  • Take major responsibility in annual volume planning including production stock and retail; responsible for monthly volume planning program for forecasting and reporting of production, stock and retail using the system on model and engine level.
  • Set up region target/POS target yearly and quarterly and monthly target; steering target achievement in line with overall supply situation.
  • Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly report to regions and management
  • Main central contact person for region sales related topics, regarding but not limited to sales volume reporting, logistics, customs, and payment coordination issues.
  • Plan and monitor of accurate pipeline stock to ensure the right basis of planning.
  • Support on model mix and color mix planning.
  • Maximize the use of existing pipeline car resources to ensure smoothly target delivered.
  • Other volume related reports preparation. Support other teams / departments on sales volume reports request.
  • Acting as central contact for CUE team requests related to production allocation e.g. short-term urgent production requests, quotas/vehicles swap & re-allocation
  • Support CUE team in urgent requests and actively find the possible solutions for efficient handling e.g. swap the vehicles, re-allocate the vehicles to optimize the car resources and secure the sales opportunities
  • Communicate with CUE team as their consultation partner on daily business for all their volume planning related issues.
  • Alerts the risks and internally in case the achievement of the retail target is in danger due to insufficient production or in case of overstock situation
  • Support other Ad hoc business projects

Pivotal and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with business subjects as majors
  • Good business and sales planning knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Organized, detail-oriented and ability to manage the complexity
  • Competency of working in high pressure and handling multiple tasks
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Strong sense in figures
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency in Business English
