Simulation is at the heart of autonomous driving (AD) development, testing, and validation. The ability to simulate the complex environment the vehicle will encounter, running simulations at scale, and making sure simulations have high fidelity compared to the real world are all critical throughout the AD product lifecycle.
The Vehicle to Simulation Team develops a cloud based, large-scale infrastructure to re-sim Real Vehicle Recordings on our simulation platform in closed-loop, enabling the investigation and reproduction of real world vehicle events.
As the V2S Simulation SW Engineer , you will:
- Design and develop infrastructure for Vehicle2Sim, optimizing performance and scale.
- Design and implement cloud deployments of the tool for scalability and portability.
- Integrate with different tools and APIs to enable a streamlined workflow for users.
- Debug, investigate and fix bugs across the tool.
- Improve the tool's fidelity and realism.
- Work with 3rd party vendors, integrating new capabilities and features.
- At least 2 years of experience in C++ and python.
