UltraCruise is a driver-assistance technology that enables hands-free driving in 95% percent of all driving scenarios. A door-to-door hands-free driving technology that will enable GM’s goal of zero crashes, zero emissions and zero congestion.
Ultracruise is part of SDV - Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) team that supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV has created Ultifi, a new vehicle intelligence platform, that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road! Within the Software Defined Vehicle, GM is developing the next generation of embedded platform software to deliver state of the art Infotainment features on the Ultifi platform.
UltraCruise IL group is focusing on research and development of advanced technologies to enable brake through applications for the future of mobility.
The Perception Embedded Software group is responsible for developing and delivering the production solution for perception software stack, which is a fundamental building block in GM's next generation commercial autonomous vehicle.
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team.
The Technical Project Manager is the SCRUM Leader that orchestrate the teams in delivering value by communicating with stakeholders, removing/escalating impediments, managing risks, and drive relentless improvements.
What will You do?
- Orchestrate multiple development teams across multiple products
- Facilitate the PI Planning for the various teams
- Manage and communicate the embedded deliveries to Vehicle Program
- Manage the solution kanban and work to break it down to the dev teams

- BSc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 6+ years of Engineering experience (preferably embedded computer vision systems) with demonstrated technical and professional skills in Systems Engineering and/or Embedded Software Development
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Leader
- It’s an advantage if you completed an official SAFe training
