About you:
You are a senior designer who is comfortable defining new UX patterns to then carry them all the way to high-resolution final designs. You balance a passion for designing gorgeous products and experiences anchored on a strong understanding of user behaviors and success through consumer insights. You work well under pressure in fast-paced environments and you can make trade offs but can also stand strong when the company is cutting too many corners. You love ambiguity and can respond with creativity in this blurry zone. You bring projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure their success.
You’re highly competent and humble enough not to have an ego. You’re a skilled communicator and enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams to oversee the experience from conception to launch (and beyond).
What You Will Do:

Initiate, define and lead innovation initiatives and product features from concept through launch.

Help build a great User Experience team by being a Brightdrop UX ambassador in front of potential hires.

Own the full-stack design process—from exploration to UX specs to polished UI designs to working with engineers and PMs to implement a flawless experience.

Develop and maintain positive relationships and collaborations with Product Managers, Engineering.

Collaborate with the other UX teams, such as research, to explore, test, and evolve the designs.

Help to create a strong User Experience point-of-view for what is the aspirational future we want to build.

Help onboard and mentor other designers.
Additional Description
We Are Looking For:
-
8+ years of experience designing product features for products and apps.
-
Experience in designing and shipping vehicle infotainment systems.
-
A versatile portfolio that showcases deep interaction and UX logic as well as visual design skills.

Ability to quickly produce a great range of UX/UI concepts, as well as go deep to identify edge cases.
-
The communication skills to clearly articulate your concepts—and evangelize on their behalf.

Experience with testing and using user feedback to inform design decisions is a plus.

Proven leadership and ability to drive initiatives and projects.

Figma experience and working with established design systems is a plus.

A love of mobility, sustainability and brighter futures.
The expected base compensation for this role is: (90,223 - 144,123 USD Annual). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
