As an Accessories Vehicle Program Manager, you will lead the creation, planning and development of highly profitable accessory portfolios through all phases of the development process. Accessory portfolios are created for each vehicle program (e.g., Hummer, Corvette, Escalade, etc...). Examples of GM accessories are vehicle appearance packages, off road accessories, performance accessories and other vehicle customization that excites the customer.

Responsibilities:
- Accessories Program and Business Manager responsible for growing and optimizing Accessory revenue, contribution margin and return on investment.
- Lead the planning and development of highly profitable accessories portfolios through all phases of the VDP.
- Responsible for maintaining and balancing vendor tooling capital budget
- Lead the Accessory Program Execution Team
- Execute the Accessory Strategy
- Own and maintain accurate Product Program Content
- Identify accessory BOM Re-Use opportunities for program
- Create, manage and optimize business cases for responsible portfolios
- Lead Timing Workshop for timeline development of accessory projects
Additional Description
Required:
- BS Degree - Engineering or Business
- Minimum five years of experience in various functions within GM globally (planning, engineering, purchasing, design, etc…)
- Strong business sense
- Good understanding of GVDP
- Flexibility to work in an evolving process
- Process Leader, knows how to lead changes to evolving processes
- Strong leadership ability. High level of self-motivation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints
- Ability to network and run effective meetings with diverse participants that collaborate cross-functionally and globally to reach consensus
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Work experience in Program Management Accessory Product Development, Planning, Marketing or Finance
- Work experience with GM IT
