Responsibilities

  • Ideate and develop BrightDrop’s financial reporting analytics

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to launch the reporting platform for growth KPIs

  • Manage volume and revenue variance analysis and reporting

  • Manage and review monthly actuals/forecast with manufacturing business partners

  • Approval and tracking of Manufacturing spend/purchase requests facilitation throughout the month

  • Support setting up financial systems and processes for new opportunities/markets

  • Ad hoc analysis/projects

Additional Description

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Accounting/Finance

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • Business partner support roles focused on building relationships

  • Experience with building reporting platforms including Power BI

  • Proven proficiency crafting and presenting stories

  • Strategic mindset - Desire to challenge the norms

  • Strong communicator 

  • Working with startups 

  • Reporting System Implementation experience

  • SAP consolidation / GCARS / FP&A 

  • Independent self-starter

  • European market experience

Desired Skills

  • Ambiguity : comfortable working in white space (new areas/concepts)

  • Self-motivated: lean reporting structure requires each person to work independently at times with little guidance from management to solve challenges

  • Technical Analysis: perform contract review and analysis

  • Challenge the status quo: enjoy working closely with other teams and at the same time asking them to stretch there thinking on subjects

  • Communication and relationship building :  ability to work with all levels within General Motors globally and across functional boundaries e.g. finance, purchasing, vehicle development, legal and built trust with customers, partners and other external stakeholders

Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: ($86,460-$141.060). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
