Description

Lead a team, provide training, and drive the performance management process as well as manage an efficient organizational structure. Requires in-depth knowledge of MGO C and working knowledge of MGO A. Requires deep understanding of supply chain functions and working knowledge of stamping manufacturing process. Position is flexible and at times requires extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives for BPD and GMS. Ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives

  • Communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers. Position monitors and communicates at risk coil and blank status to leadership

  • Assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to stamping production

  • Assess supplier schedules and impact to stamping production

  • Summarizes critical issues with resolutions and communicates to leadership.

  • Handles complex capacity constraints to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation

  • Maintains MGO C record balance integrity and resole discrepancies through in-depth problem solving: Perform offsite coil audits, enter coil/blank adjustments, Process and analyze scrap quantities. Conduct monthly physical inventory. Analyze physical inventory results and make necessary record adjustments

  • Leads weekly scrap review with stamping leadership

  • Analyzes blank inventory and work with suppliers to maintain proper inventory levels

  • Analyze factory assist requirements and set up ship schedule for TVS including processing

  • Runs and analyzes ERD reports and corrects issues

  • Verifies Production / ADS schedules

  • Processes SPPS as required for supplier issues

  • Manages annual physical inventory

  • Develops and implement cost savings projects

  • Ensures total cost perspective is utilized

  • Lead MGO C Annual Cutover

Additional Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing Engineering required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience

  • Experience with project management preferred

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to travel when required - 10% or less
