-    Manage a team, responsible for staffing, mentoring, training, team development and personal career development

-    Intensive understanding of business processes in Vehicle Assembly Plant, Powertrain Plant and Battery Plant 
-    Direct prioritization and focus of work, evaluate results and remove roadblocks
-    Lead team to:

  • Provide IT System Deployment services to China Joint Venture partners in support of GM IT Innovation strategy.
  • Provide IT system software release execution to China Joint Venture partners.
  • Provide Project Management services that are critical for all launch, Deploy, and Releases projects.
  • Understand IT Global Launch Process, and follow the process in deployment, including:  

o    Conducting requirement analysis workshop

o    Installation and system configuration

o    Supporting System Acceptance Test and User Acceptance Test

o    Conducting user training 

o    Preparing project deliverables

o    Performing transition to operation.

o    Working in cross functional teams with extended team members across Asia and North America   

o    Managing and maintaining business and IT expectations according to project scope, schedule, and budget

o    Addressing issues and challenges in a timely manner, and driving necessary discussions, resolutions and escalations

o    Supporting Business Facing Team for business requirement background study

o    Supporting Global Application Operation Support (AOS)Team for critical incident resolving and ongoing support request

Additional Description

Qualifications :
-    BS/MS in Engineering, or Computer Science, Information System or related majors
-    Technical understanding of the interrelationship in the Manufacturing Industry IT environment and technical knowledge of base components (OS, Database, Virtual Machine, Middleware, Webservice, etc..)
-    A proven track record (10-15+ years) of providing technical program management during all phases of software deployment from kick-off to delivery
-    Demonstrat3 critical thinking and thought leadership, working for a solution provider, systems integrator, and issue resolution
-    Strong experience (5+ years) managing a technical team for staffing, mentoring, training, team and personal career development
-    Proven ability to drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions 
-    Strong problem-solving skills
-    Continuous improvement attitude and ability
-    Strong written and verbal communication skills, building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams around the global organization
-    Willingness to challenge the customer and take risks to optimize business value for customers, with the ability to anticipate customer reactions and actions through understanding of the customer business and IT expectations.
-    Willingness and desire to travel 25-50% of the time with customers, to customer sites, and internal/external projects.
-    Understanding of industry trends, and the relevant impact on customer business and IT strategy and challenges
-    Interfacing with all levels of internal and external Executive leadership team members within cross-functional areas
-    Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
-    Fluent in writing & speaking of English and Chinese language
