We have an outstanding opportunity for a student interested in sales and marketing to be involved in this exciting industry supporting our EV Readiness team! In this role, you will gain foundational knowledge of what’s it's like to work in a winning marketing organization, learn alongside experienced professionals, and interact with various partners to better understand the business and opportunities at GM.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager – EV Readiness, you will support in the following areas:

Support new and existing marketing promotions/programs for GM Canada EV Buyers

Support the launch and carry out our Dealer Community Charging Program, where we will work with our Dealers and community partners to install up to 40,000 Level 2 chargers across North America

Help with the rollout and implementation of EV exposure programs
-
Assist in the development of EV research for analysis and leadership reviews
-
Research, analyze, and report out on EV Incentives in Canada
-
Assist with the planning and execution of EV Readiness meetings
-
Collaborate with the review and Canadianization of EV marketing and training materials
-
Support responding to incoming questions from the field and dealers on assigned projects
Qualifications:
-
Pursuit of a Bachelor's (3rd or 4th year) degree in one of the following areas: Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance
-
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada and for 8-month term (2 consecutive semesters) starting May 2023
-
The successful candidate will be required to attest to, and be prepared to provide proof of, their vaccination status and that any job offer will be conditional on the candidate being fully vaccinated
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous related sales and marketing work experience, or Co-Op terms
-
Previous experience in automotive, or a strong curiosity about the industry

Experience in PowerBI

Fundamental digital literacy including understanding of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint with an emphasis on Excel
