·       In this leadership role you will provide technical mentorship and expertise to other team members regarding requests, ongoing maintenance, and incident management.

·       You will be responsible for supporting IT systems and/or applications for productive & administrative activities

·       Act as an expert within the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

·       Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

·       Leads and directs the work of others.

·       A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

·       You will understand the key IT Operations functions and processes and how the existing and new processes will improve business results.

·       Educate and mentor the technical team in the use of appropriate standardized operational methods.

·       Plans, conducts, evaluates, drives continuous improvements

·       May determine shift schedules for team and recommend staffing needs

·       Prepares, analyzes, summarizes, and presents data in formats appropriate for the decision process (oral, written reports, presentations)

·       Plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of a computer operations department.

·       Establishes department policies and procedures.

·       Create and/or adequate the WIS, WSS, etc.

·       Responsible for operation of mainframe and peripheral information system equipment and for developing schedules for equipment usage.

·       Leads and directs the work of others.

·       A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

·       Gather and analyze data, make reports, prepare plans and recommendations. Work involves accuracy and ability to make decisions within the limits of general policies and procedures.

·       Builds a diverse and effective team by identifying/selecting the best talent

·       Responsible for directing and prioritizing work, leading performance and providing guidance / coaching to team members.

·       Leads the culture within their team, holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors.

·       Accountable for Asset Management accuracy and control.

·       Support extra activities required from Complex Production areas or Production Support Areas.
