Located at the Design Center in Warren, Michigan, the individual in this role will lead the conceptualization and development of Transportation and Mobility Design projects within the GM Design Group working across GM Design, Marketing, Fabrication and Prototyping, external suppliers, and creative agencies. Job Description:
Create new and unique design (Interiors, Exteriors and Advanced) ideas and concepts under general supervision for automotive vehicles and other mobility products through traditional sketches as well as digitally through the use of 2D and 3D technology. Collaborate frequently with design team, sculpting organization, engineering and fabrication teams in the development of new designs. Maintain knowledge of current design trends and technology. Present ideas frequently to management and leadership to communicate design ideas. Work duties involve a considerable amount of perception and creativity as well as a strong degree of skill and accuracy to deliver work in a deadline driven environment.

Qualifications :
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in one of the following areas (or related fields):
- Product Design
- Industrial Design
- Transportation Design
Must graduate by or before September 2023.
