The role will advise the MDs and management teams of the GM units on strategic, high level and significant matters and projects as well as day to day operations. Additional Description
Knowledge/Education:
- Bachelor of Laws
- Extensive experience (min 8 years pqe) working in-house in a multinational corporation and/or a reputable legal firm.
- Sound understanding of business issues of dedicated client groups
- Good grasp of industry best practice
- Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of Australia & New Zealand laws and the ability to develop knowledge of legal frameworks in countries overseen. Experience advising in other jurisdictions in Asia and the Middle East will be viewed favorably.
- Extensive experience working across full range of legal issues including contracts, IP, antitrust, consumer protection, joint ventures, litigation, sales and marketing, HR/IR, restructures, environmental, product liability
- Good understanding and experience advising on ethical, safety, policy and risk requirements.
