Description
Hybrid - Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week at our Cole Engineering Center in Warren, MI
As a Sr. Distribution Analyst in Supply Chain, you will be responsible for project management, problem solving, and leading a project to replace or enhance the current distribution systems.
In this position you will execute deliverables in support of the Supply Chain Distribution organization's business objectives. This position communicates to all levels of the organization and work requires a considerable amount of initiative, problem solving, and independent judgment.

Business project leader to identify a system replacement or enhancement for the existing Distribution systems.

Lead analytical projects for optimizing inventory and replenishment frequency within our Parts Distribution Centers.

Analyze data, present results of analytics and make recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with the Network Design team to manage network projects from concept to implementation.

Manage the replenishment leadtime tools and processes to maintain and improve the leadtime between the RDCs and the PDCs

Provide as a back-up for core distribution analyst roles engaged in running the business.
Additional Description
Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree required OR equivalent experience
-
5+ years experience working in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics and/or Inventory Management.

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities

Experience using data to provide insights and recommendations
-
Strong presentation skills with ability to take data and present it for others to understand.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Microsoft applications
-
Proficient utilizing statistical analysis, analytical tools and visualization software such as SQL, Access, and PowerBI.

Strong project management skills and well organized
-
Experience working on IT projects

Experience working in Mainframe applications is a plus

Experience in warehouse distribution center(s) operations is a plus
