Create, execute, and evaluate manual and automated test plans and test cases for ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Vehicle Intelligence Platform (VIP) applications from system feature integration perspective focusing on Energy and Drive Quality (E&DQ) domain including Vehicle to Everything (V2X), Smart Charge, Engine Air Filter Monitor (EAFM) and 12-Volt Start Stop features. Integrate features at vehicle level and verify software applications for GM Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle) emphasizing Energy and Drive Quality (E&DQ) embedded electronic control units (ECUs) in Vehicle Integration Control Module (VICM), Onboard Charging Module (OBCM), Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU) and Central Gateway Module (CGM), using ETAS INCA, Vector CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, Development Programming System (DPS), and neoVI FIRE2 hardware. Review, analyze and debug Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Parameter Identifiers (PIDs), and Data Identifiers (DIDs) over Controller Area Network (CAN), Local InterconnectNetwork (LIN) and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols, for current and future model year BEV programs and global markets, to meet vehicle specific electrical architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements.                                                                                                                                   

Additional Description

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related. Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer.  Must also have experience with: creating manual and automated test plans and test cases for vehicle applications, and debugging Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) over Controller Area Network (CAN) communication protocol, to meet vehicle specific electrical architecture and system requirements.
