Description

Develop and document requirements required to design an automotive system. Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies. Oversee requirements development with other activities. Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis. Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements. Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans. Track corrective actions.

Additional Description

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science. Two (2) years of experience in job offered or in a related controls or automation field.  Must also have experience with: configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Allen Bradley PLC, including Safety Logic; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of I/O Blocks: Allen-Bradley, Turck; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Siemens TIA HMI's; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Industrial networking: Devicenet, Ethernet; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Fanuc Robots: Material Handling, Dispense, Weld Spot, Vision applications; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Vision Systems: Matrox, SICK, Fanuc Vision; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Conveyance technologies: Power & Free Conveyors, Geo Pallet Conveyors, Skid Conveyors, AGC’s; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drives: Powerflex, Armorstart; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Barcode Readers: SICK; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Torque Guns: Atlas Copco; experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Wireless Applications (RFID Tags, AGC’s); experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Error Proofing applications: Torque Tools, Part Pick, Vision Inspection; and experience with configuring, programming, and troubleshooting of Bin Picking applications using Photoneo, Keyence cameras.
