Hybrid: for this position is required to be on site 3x/week

What you will do (responsabilities):

  • To lead continuous improvement process and support voice of quality to Current Product Improvement Team (CPIT). Escalate to executive leadership when assistance is needed.

  • Lead and support initiatives driving Digital Transformation in Quality to enhance Customer Experience for continuous improvement process across platforms and models.

  • Support global launch processes as defined within the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) as required.

  • Educate, train, and communicate Current Product Improvement (CPI), Product Development Quality (PDQ) processes to team members, as required.

  • Coach and develop team members to develop talent, drive engagement, improve performance, and achieve results.

  • Develop and implement Technical Problem Solving (Red-X) culture, training, tools, and projects.

  • Track vehicle quality performance (Warranty & Customer Surveys) along with Assistant Program Quality Manager (APQMs)

  • Review and communicate Warranty metrics and Voice of Customer to continuous improvement teams and correlated areas needed.

  • Support in cost saving and warranty payment reduction initiatives.

  • Escalate and support when executive leadership is required utilizing the most appropriate forums

  • Provide quality input including customer requirements, lessons learned, Warranty/Voice of the Customer, and competitor’s assessment to program team. 

  • Support Launch Excellence initiatives.

  • To lead and support actions plans for carry-over issues identified on quality fleet evaluation process (CTF)


Additional Description

Your skills and abilities (required qualifications):

  • Bachelor in Engineering

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus

  • Portuguese (native)/ Fluency in English/ Spanish is a plus

  • Requires knowledge of Program Quality Processes, Current Product improvement processes, and Technical Problem-Solving methodologies.

  • Experience in team Leadership, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Program Management, Data Science and Analytics

  • Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
