Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI three times per week, at minimum.

The Team:

General Motors is hiring for Sales Interns for Summer 2025! Working for General Motors means leading the way for world-class vehicles and technology. We are seeking interns for multiple areas including Chevrolet, Buick/GMC, and Cadillac. 

What You’ll Do:

The internship is a 10-12-week, project-based program intended to create long term value for the company. Upon completion of the internship, the student will present their work and project findings to an executive leadership team

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Collaborate with Regional and HQ Sales department members to effectively collect and examine current data 

  • Identify key drivers of sales effectiveness including national, regional, and local market standard methodologies 

  • Build standard effectiveness reporting with recommendations for near term actions

  • Support Sales Ops departments in current requirements and projects outcomes

Additional Description

Required Qualifications: 

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Business, Sales, or related degree

  • Must be graduating between December 2025 -June 2026

  • Able to work full time, 40 hours per week

  • Oral and written communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated subjects to a wider audience

  • Consistently demonstrates innovative thinking and problem-solving skills that is customer-centric 

Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2025. 

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this role is $4,400 monthly, dependent upon class status and degree.

  • GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
