Position requires an employee to be onsite on a full time basis. This person will work 1st shift to start.
The Role:
In this role, you will perform inventory control, scheduling, and other warehouse support functions in a parts distribution center. You will contribute to team goals and solve problems with guidance from your direct leader in addition to the following responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:

Reconcile daily inventory control records and files.

Physical verification of inventory on the warehouse floor.

Data processing in relation to counts, adjustments, damage, and unitization issues.

Assign slotting for product inbound to the facility based on velocity, ergonomics, commodity, and existing back orders.

Audit/correct slotting errors that may have occurred previously or been caused by recent changes to packaging.

Support inbound and outbound operations with project improvements that help increase their performance

Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

High level of computer experience/expertise

Inventory Management experience
-
Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work early morning shifts
-
Strong communication and problem solving skills
-
Warehouse experience
-
Ability to work any shift or OT as needed.

Previous GM Warehouse experience

Experience in a union work environment
