What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
• Supports Powertrain, PTVI, and Platform activities to meet application requirements
• Lead product team in balancing architecture (new and major programs)
• Supports PET in developing product line strategic direction
• "Ambassador" for the product line
• Leads completion of engine or transmission SSTS to ensure a balanced powertrain
• Responsible for SSTS change management
• Leads in selection of content to meet negotiated requirements
• Responsible for leading resolution of engineering CPIT issues
• Negotiates PE requirements and deliverables with other PT-internal and vehicle functions
• Represents PE at the PET
• Supports engineering requirements for GPS reviews
• Sets the agenda & facilitates PAPIR meetings; publishes minutes and action items
• Responsible for GVDP, GPDP, and ePOE engineering deliverables
• Consults/provides input to BOM/BOD/BOP
• Lead engineering responsibility for product launch & acceleration support
• Lead mock-up reviews and design checks
• Responsible for PPDR plan and execution; supports VSE on P3DR execution
• Lead benchmarking activity and preparation for PSR
• Review input to workload model for accuracy and program compliance
• Provide input to HRM process as needed/requested
• Assist in establishing and tracking program budgets
• Responsible for Power and Torque numbers on certification process

Education: Engine/Transmission/Electrification experience / Bachelor Engineering degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic.
