In this role, you will manage the maintenance and repair of stamping plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems in addition to the following responsibilities:
 - You will conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results
 - Recommends solutions to problems
 - Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
 - Meets schedule and quality requirements
 - Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
 - Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
 - Maintain frequent contact and collaboration in other areas outside of working group
 - Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
 - Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles

Additional Description

Key Requirements

-Controls Engineer, Electronic, Mechatronic,

-English advanced

-Experience in manufacturing process, robots, PLVs, Ethernet comm, HMIS, conveyors, presses, electricity, motors, servos, variators, diagrams, assembly lines.

-Availability to change shifts

Knowledge:

-Interpretation of Electrical drawings.

-Electrical specifications and standards.

-Siemens S7 PLC Programming, trouble shooting..

-Siemens HMI configuration.

-Networks Profibus, Profinet , Ethernet communication and configuration.

-Fanuc Robot Programming, trouble shooting.

-Vision systems: Cameras, Scanners.

-Maintain the backups updated of the electronic equipment using UDC system.

-Inventory of the controls diagnostic equipment, tools and software.

-Continuous development of technical skill according to the versatility chart , technical training.

-Maintain and trouble shooting of the manufacturing system functionality ( PMC , ANDON , FLEXNET ).

-Generate technical reports of trouble shooting process and improvements implemented.

-Attend meetings and follow up: TIP continuous improvement, teamwork, manufacturing systems, safety.
