As a Graphic Design & Video Editing Intern at General Motors, we are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. While the primary focus of this internship will be on video editing, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to various graphic design projects. This role offers an exciting chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, perfect for someone eager to develop their skills and make an impact in the world of media production.

Additional Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality educational videos for New Model Launch projects, to be featured on the GM Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop engaging video content that aligns with GM's brand and messaging.

  • Assist in the creation of graphic design assets, including infographics, text animations, B-roll integration, and other digital content.

  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for both video and graphic design projects.

  • Ensure all video and graphic content is consistent with brand guidelines and meets established project deadlines.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in video editing and graphic design to continuously refine skills and enhance content quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects .

    • Basic knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator .

  • Creative Abilities: Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and design principles.

  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your video editing and graphic design work is highly desirable.
