Work Arrangement

Hybrid - this position requires the employee to be onsite a minimum of three days per week. The primary work location is Warren, MI.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OpEx Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Six Sigma Black Belt or a GM Faster Master certification. In addition, the ideal candidate will enhance our teams advanced analytics capabilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow as a problem solver and leader by working on high impact enterprise projects.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Lead and manage critical operational excellence projects and initiatives
Track and monitor projects to ensure on-time completion
Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
Mentor and train team members in continuous improvement methods
Facilitate and support project teams by leading them through the Op-Ex process, gathering required data, executing analyses, identifying issues, and recommending solutions
Review work with the project champion and senior leadership as the project progresses

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

5+ relevant experience (i.e. Process Improvement, Business Operations, or Project/Program Management)
2+ years of professional experience using Minitab or similar statistical software
Proven experience in leading teams and projects
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills by successfully identifying and resolving issues, resulting in improvements and project efficiency
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders, completing the change management processes.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

Up to date process improvement project portfolio
Ability to write SQL scripts to pull and summarize data from database schemas
Working knowledge of advanced analytics techniques like Large Language Models and Machine Learning
Working knowledge of Python libraries and pandas
