The Role

In your role, you will be responsible to perform 3D design and supporting analysis of engine combustion and airflow system components for future engines as well as design and procure parts for single cylinder engine testing of combustion systems.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the Combustion Technical Specialist, Product Line Combustion Engineer, Engine System Analyst, and Engine Architect to determine the requirements for the combustion and airflow system of a future engine.

  • Evaluate the proposed designs for compliance to GM component Best Practices.

  • Collaborate with the Combustion Product Development Team (PDT) to down-select the alternatives (based on steady-state and transient analysis of the system).
