Climate change is one of the biggest challenges for our generation. As GM advances our vision for a zero-emissions, all-electric future, we’re working to create a clean, safe and equitable world for all – including our employees, customers and communities across the globe.

A Future with zero emissions

We’re taking action in the fight against climate change by planning to make our global products and operations carbon neutral by 2040 and eliminating tailpipe emissions from our new light duty vehicles by 2035. We’re also planning to source 100% renewable energy in the U.S. by 2025 and globally by 2035.

Equitable Climate Action

We’re on a mission to ensure our journey to an all-electric future is an inclusive one for our current and future workforce, customers, and communities that may be more likely to disproportionately experience the effects of climate change.

Sustainable Workplace Transformation

Across our manufacturing footprint, we’re retooling, upgrading and expanding our infrastructure to serve as a launchpad for our multi-brand all-EV strategy. We’re committed to our workforce and to bringing everybody along on our sustainable transition to an all-electric future.
