Descripción
The career level controls engineer must be able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from supervision. Skilled in machine controls alternatives and trouble shooting necessary for the production up time. Work is performed in a manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where creativity and initiative is exercised as well as independent judgment.
Must be able to work afternoon or night shift.
- Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies
- Oversee requirements development with other activities
- Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis
- Strong ability to expertly capture and analyze empirical data
- Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements
- Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies.
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions
- Configure, program, test & address PLC
- Electrical solving & testing of control systems, control panels & associated equipment
- Participate in design reviews & G-risks for new process equipment crafted to build stators in high volume
- Off shift position
Additional Description
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 0-2 years of experience
- Must be willing to work afternoon/evening shift
Preferred
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
