As a Senior Engineer of Cloud Security , you will lead the effort to protect our Cloud Infrastructure. Your passion for security and in-depth knowledge of Cloud Security will ensure that you deliver high impact results.

Engineering, implementing and supervising security measures for the protection of Cloud Infrastructure and integrations.
Perform security architecture reviews for Cloud Infrastructure for existing and new services.
Conduct assessments of security controls and configuration and continuous verification with automation
Threat Modeling and Pen Testing
Design and implement Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring use cases.
Implement and Manage DDOS and WAF protections.
Security Tool Development
Perform Security training and outreach to internal development teams.
An advocate for policy of code, security, and automation. Embracing DevSecOps towards all cloud activities

Additional Description

REQUIREMENTS :

B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
At least 6+ years of experience in Information Security and 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security.
Experience architecting and operating security frameworks built on Azure Cloud.
Experience in implementing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP).
Minimum of one year experience in Microsoft Defender Cloud.
Demonstrated success and influence in the Cloud Security space.
Experience defining security policy, technology requirements, and control objectives.
Experience in WAF and DDOS
Experience in Container Security and EKS
Experience in Logging, monitoring, and responding to detected incidents in the cloud environment.
Meaningful experience in High level programming languages (Java, Python, C, C++).
Detailed understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals (Cloud networks and Cloud-based Systems), including cryptography and the shared responsibility model
Experience in KMS, Cloud HSM and Key Vaults for storing secure crypto material.
Experience in deploying the infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Expert knowledge of secure infrastructure architectures, application architectures, encryption, Cloud Security, and broader security technologies.
An interest and desire to stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.

*This is a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA. Work will be performed onsite 3 days a week. Remote possibility for the right candidate

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant in the California Bay Area which includes the following counties: Marin, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz might be paid in accordance with the California law.

The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of the California Bay Area.

The annual salary range for this role is $124,500 - $190,696. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
