The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our GM Oshawa Facility.
Key Responsibilities
-
Safely troubleshoot various automotive stamping and production equipment
-
Troubleshoot VFD, Servomotors and Network Communication devices
-
Maintain and routinely monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment (preventative and predictive maintenance)
-
Repair, troubleshoot and install machinery, control systems and automation

Who We Are Looking For:
-
High School education with valid Electrician License (309A or 442A)
-
Successful completion of Canadian Electrical Apprenticeship Program
-
Basic Computer Skills
-
2-3 Years’ experience in a Manufacturing/Automotive environment
-
Robotics, PLC and HMI Experience preferred
-
Dual ticket a definite asset
-
Straight Midnight shift ( Mandatory )
-
Ability to work scheduled overtime as required

Compensation: Starting at a full rate of $51.97 plus a Cost Of Living Adjustment (COLA) – currently $0.05/hour

Plus you will earn an afternoon shift premium of 5%, a night shift premium of 10%, paid overtime (x1.5 and x2.0) in accordance with the collective agreement

COLA Adjustments on a quarterly basis

DC Pension Program with Employer Match up to 2080 hours

Annual General Wage increases scheduled in 2024 and 2025
