Vancouver PDC Supervisor

Assists in ensuring success of departmental function in a warehouse processing center or distribution center, to provide accurate and timely shipments to customers. Leads and solves problems within the limits of general standards and practices, with some direct guidance from General Supervisor.

This role requires a 9 hour/day work shift which equals 45 hours/week work shift.

  • Demonstrate effective performance of job responsibilities. 

  • Motivates direct reports and/or business partners through effective communication, training, coaching, development, and recognition. 

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement using tools such as layered audit. 

  • Cultivates a safety culture and implements and enforces workplace safety rules and policies. 

  • Implementation of GMS and ownership of lean principle 

  • Participates in the success of completing WSS Performance Standards and Elements annually. 

  • Lead, investigate and report incidents into Intelex. 

  • Models GM’s cultural behaviors and always demonstrates the highest level of integrity. 

  • Maintains good working relationships and communicates with employees and management team. 

  • Evaluate team performance regularly and promotes continuous improvement. 

  • Achieves quality standards by communicating goals and leveraging resources to solve problems. 

  • Understands and consistently administers company policies. 

  • Completes administrative tasks such as timekeeping and maintain departmental records and reports. 

  • Trains, develops, and evaluates hourly team members. 

  • Promotes safety and good housekeeping practices utilizing safety management system. 

  • Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals and leverage resources to solve quality issues.   

  • Responsible for meeting LPH and A-R metrics and daily planning to meet goals and objectives. 

  • Participates in forward planning activities, maintains departmental Business Plan Deployment (BPD) boards, continuously improve team performance in all aspects of the business. 

  • Maintains prompt shipment and short lead time flow receiving. 

  • Maintains records to track and improve departmental performance.  

  • Stay informed with performance reports and costs. 

  • Participates and engages in providing feedback and solutions.  

  • Promote a healthy and positive work culture. 

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • The Salary range for this role is: $70,400-$105,600. The Actual base Salary for a successful candidate will be offered within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
