This is a ( Hybrid ) position with travel required if needed. It depends on the Country that the employee resides. Hybrid work location will be determined by which country you're selected in - US, Mexico, Brazil, or Philippines. ​

GBS Learning is looking for someone focused on delivering results with creativity to bring fresh ideas, optimize processes and willing to participate in a new Learning Management system implementation and change management. Having a Global mindset is a must. Project management skills and Teamwork are also required.​

The GBS LMS Solutions Lead will provide strategic management, operational insight, and data analysis, on a global basis, for training information in all forms, electronic and hard copy, in support of the global learning technology roadmap for current and future initiatives. This includes understanding, interpreting, analyzing, and optimizing the multiple data integrations supporting the global Learning Management System (LMS). In addition, this role will lead the business requirements for the highly prioritized portfolio and strategic projects that will enable the transformation of learning globally for GM.

Successful criteria for this role are the ability to engage and interact with multiple levels of leadership in Global HR Talent Management, GM Information Technology, Learning Country Stakeholders, Business Functional Learning Leaders, all learner types accessing Learning systems, and the Shared Service Centers supporting employee inquiries. This role has a high degree of collaboration with business functional teams globally, requires critical thinking and analytic skills, and the ability to manage in a fast paced, ambiguous, and high-volume environment.

As a Member of the Team, You Will

  • Support efforts to create a unified set of learning platforms and tools across GM.​
  • Support the management of the learning design standards and processes to optimize the delivery of services across GM, including partnering with IT to maintain learning applications 24/7 ​
  • Manage the current learning tools, systems and business processes supporting all learner types globally within GM.  This includes, but not limited to, the GM Learning website and supporting SharePoint sites, Lectora, Brightcove, etc.​
  • Update and/or create process to work with functions in need of instructional design and learning & evaluation consultation.​
  • ​Upskill the enterprise in ISD methodologies​
  • Upskill in Lectora to handle current requests​ and act in a Course Developer role in LMS
  • Support functions who do not have course building support​ and explore new course development opportunities
  • Manage the current learning tools, systems and business processes supporting all learner types globally within GM.  This includes, but not limited to, the Global Learning Management System, the GM Learning website and supporting SharePoint sites, Lectora, etc.​
  • Develop appropriate instructional methodologies and formats for existing and new programs including determining content and delivery methods best suited to materials being shared.​
  • Research trends and the latest innovations/best practices in areas of learning theory, training, technical communication, and instructional design and make proposals for change.​
  • Manage licenses for learning tools (Lectora, Brightcove, etc.)
  • Consolidate sites and create strategies across functions to streamline​

Qualifications and Experience

  • Speaking fluent ENGLISH is a requirement
  • Bachelor’s in related field or 7+ years equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in leading/participating in highly complex projects involving multiple integrations of various data elements such as profile data, training data, business functional data, country data, etc.,
  • Expertise in learning, data analysis, project development, delivery, and measurement of learning solutions
  • Exceptional project management skills (detail oriented, resourceful, able to multi-task)
  • Demonstrated experience developing best practices from scratch supporting the various business processes and systems in Learning
  • 5+ years of understanding and leveraging analytics for insight and delivery of best-in-class reporting solutions and dashboards
  • Ability to handle conflict and build strong relationships and networks to create synergies and best practices within the business functions globally Fluent English is required.
  • Desired ability to speak another language (Portuguese or Spanish preferred)
  • Ability to work with Global community
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with BI and Analytics tools
  • Have a deep understanding of MS Office tools
  • Deep understanding of Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP’s, merge files)
  • Thrive in a collaborative atmosphere and believe in the power of innovation through differing viewpoints
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
