Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
The GBS Master Data COE is focused on driving value by taking a comprehensive, end-to-end approach to Data Governance and Master Data Management. GBS operates as a global organization supporting various GM functions including Finance, Controllership, Purchasing, HR, Manufacturing and a growing list of new business partners. The Master Data COE works with various project teams to ensure that GM functions can speak the same language by creating data standards for key data elements that ultimately enable faster transfer of key data, quicker analytics, and smoother transactional reporting. Once these data standards have been established the Master Data COE facilitates the change request process and the on-going technical execution of changes.
A primary responsibility will be to support the Master Data Management COE and Transformation Teams with the design and implementation of new data standards, building them into the respective MDM tools as well as facilitating the operational work of maintaining and updating data standards, once institutionalized. This will require the applicant to manage various concurrent tasks, perform and conclude on analysis, and collaborate within the GBS Teams and IT. Must work with a high level of independent judgment and initiative, while being able to rapidly take on and assimilate work from other team members when required.
What You’ll Do
Support Data Transformation:
- During the development of new standards, work closely with the Transformation Teams on the related technical development of the standards.
- Responsible for on-boarding new data standards and configuration of the related master data management (MDM) tools.
Master Data Management:
- Understand data structure, data interfaces and how data flows and transforms from source systems to the downstream systems.
- Interface with cross-functional teams and customers, as well as facilitate the update of data standards through the change management request process.
- Manage the technical execution of changes in the respective MDM tools (DRM/DRG, MDG/SAP).
- Provide on-going process and system support during critical times (e.g. during month end), inclusive of evening and weekend hours when required.
Data Quality
- Develop data quality reports and related monitoring procedures
- Support data quality efforts for the integrated ecosystem by identifying, comparing, and resolving data quality problems related to existing data standards.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or similar discipline, with minimum of 3 years' experience in a shared services environment
- Experience working in a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally is preferred.
- Basic Automotive Industry knowledge
- Advanced MS Excel and reporting knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to work on NIGHT SHIFT (Manila/PH time) on a hybrid arrangement.
