Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Detroit Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI, three times per week, at minimum.
The Role
The Warranty Dealer Auditor is responsible for reviewing select, high risk Job Card and Repair Order documents electronically at multiple dealerships, weekly. Supporting the vision and strategy of General Motors Audit Services (GMAS) and the Audit Plan, you ensure the administration of General Motors policies and procedures against dealership practices, relative to warranty and policy claims for compliance. This Auditor interacts with the Dealer, their personnel and GM field personnel and communicates the audit results to the stakeholders.
What You'll Do

Completes electronic audits as assigned and supports overall audit plan risk assessment (volume of ten stores a week/reviewing two per day)

Determines the compliance of these claims with the rules and policies

Constructs a concise, accurate and consistent audit report

Presents the audit findings to the Dealer, their personnel and GM field personnel

Presents best practices and acts as trusted advisor to the dealer and GM SSM/CCA

Supports EDA supervisor with EDA administration (e.g., archiving, User Acceptance Testing support)

Participates in special projects

Build strong relationships with stakeholders, leaders and GMAS team

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree
-
3-5+ years of Retail Dealer Fixed Operation, District Service Manager, or Warranty Support Center experience
-
Detailed knowledge of Dealership operations, vehicle repair processes and GM Policies and Procedures

Strong computer skills in MS Excel including Vlookup and Pivot Tables

Knowledge of Power BI

Ability to work independently and unsupervised while dealing with inconsistency, adversity, and change

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
