This role is categorized as HYBRID . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Warren - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The SEM Senior Specialist will play a key role in stakeholder communication, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations for the GM Search Strategy and Execution team. This proactive and analytical individual translates data into actionable insights and communicates effectively with brand stakeholders. As an intermediate-level professional, the SEM Senior Specialist exercises independent judgment on significant matters, leveraging specialized training or experience. The role also involves supervising team members to ensure tasks are completed satisfactorily.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for brand stakeholders, providing regular performance updates and addressing their questions.
- Performance Analysis & Insights: Analyze campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Strategic Recommendations: Develop and implement strategic recommendations for optimizing campaign performance based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
- Reporting & Presentations: Create comprehensive performance reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of overall paid search strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and share best practices.
- Processes: Demonstrates strong understanding of process and procedures to relevant channel discipline with the ability to exercise decision-making skills sufficient to identify and propose solutions to leadership. Understands different areas of their function and how the operations of their area relate to others. Identifies and corrects non-routine problems in existing systems and processes through independent judgment.
- Adheres to Company Policies & Procedures: Independently identifies and applies appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Ownership: Works under general supervision, determining actions within broad guidelines and handling typical requests independently. Collaborates with senior team members for guidance and knowledge.
- Systems & Tool: Understands and established workflows/processes for paid search and knows how to use systems and technologies to accomplish work assignments. Has practical working experience in all processes within channel requirement.
- Guidance and Oversight: Provides guidance to direct reports on standardized work, quality standards, and company policies. Supervises a team, resolves issues, mitigates conflicts, assigns tasks, and monitors progress. Engages daily with subordinates and peers, exchanging or presenting information.
- Testing of AI: Using your search expertise help to test the changing landscape, by adapting current approach and testing new opportunities in the space with a critical eye (Organic + Paid)

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in paid search marketing.
- Bachelor Degree required.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing paid search campaigns.
- Strong understanding of paid search principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using paid search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising).
- Applies learned techniques to drive solutions to problems, typically involving coordinating and integrating efforts of a diverse team of colleagues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Adapts communication style to reach agreement in own area in situations of moderate complexity, demonstrating flexibility and ability to compromise.
- Engages in daily interactions with subordinates and/or peers from other functional groups, typically involving the exchange or presentation of information. Required to collaborate with team members 1-2 levels above.
- Experience in client communication and management
