The Cross Product EV Management Intern will be responsible for helping to drive electrification solutions within and beyond the vehicle. They will translate technical electrification concepts into external claims and partner with Marketing and agencies to communicate these messages.
The Undergraduate Intern will:
Build and use competitive benchmarking, advising on vehicle performance targets
Research and communicate features and technologies to creative resources, compiling substantiating documentation for marketing claims, and directing external partners in the development of communication frameworks
Work in a complex and evolving environment demonstrating an innovative attitude
Pursuit of Bachelor's degree or MBA
Must graduate between December 2023 - June 2025
Ability to comprehend complex technical subject matter and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities entail :
Cross functional interaction specifically with engineering, planning, communications, legal, and marketing brands will be a large component of the role.
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week
Strong project and budget management skills with proven track record of efficiently completing work
Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office, including MS Project
Creative and innovative mentality with a steadfast focus on continuous improvement
Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills required to effectively collaborate, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations
Interest in working on EV programs or systems, infotainment or active safety.
This position has a planned start date of May/June 2023.
This role offers the following Work Appropriately strategies:
- Remote : This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.
The median level of the monthly salary compensation for this role is $4000-$6700, dependent upon class status and degree. Benefit options are not available for this role.
GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to each student selected for the 2023 Student Program.
