As an Automation Integration Test Engineer , you will be responsible for developing and executing test automation scripts targeting android based infotainment systems mainly.
Our team works on developing and executing test automation scripts for infotainment and connectivity . This includes development, execution and maintaining of test scripts, test suites and simulation models and focusing on stability of system through script execution. We're seeking an Engineer with understanding of Robot Framework, using Python libraries, component, subsystem, and vehicle for features and interfaces within Infotainment.

Running automated tests at integration level for different Infotainment & Connectivity Features like Rear Seat Infotainment, Rear Vision Systems, Audio, Remote HMI, Power moding, Projection, OnStar, etc.
Using different Android SDK tools and platform tools like UiAutomator, adb, and fastboot etc.
Using Opensource automation tools like Appium, Robot Framework in conjunction with external libraries developed using Python
Using different IDEs like PyCharm, RIDE for Robot Framework
Understanding the Integration interfacing protocols like Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN & LVDS and logging mechanisms
Acquire and analyze data logs such as Automotive Ethernet, A2B, CAN, and LIN for root cause identification
Develop custom SW/HW tools as needed to improve work efficiency and results
Work directly with suppliers to develop, test and integrate interfaces and features that use them
Understand system configurations and develop optimal combinations for development and test
Stays ahead of current on industry best practices for scripting and automation Development
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
2+ years of automotive engineering experience
Ability to do hands-on work such as soldering, ECU flashing, vehicle updates, component removal/installation.
Understands appropriate systems engineering methods with emphasis on product integrity/safety
Automation experience – writing scripts using Python Robot Framework
Demonstrated hands-on validation or development experience with automotive electrical interfaces – CAN, LIN, EAVB, A2B, USB, LVDS (Any of these will be a plus).
Previous professional experience working with infotainment, telematics or vehicle controls systems engineering
