The Procurement and Supply team at BrightDrop is an agile, value driven team with a passion for building sustainable, ethical and resilient supply chains. The Senior Cost & Data Analysis Systems Specialist will be responsible for leading the P&SC organization’s fact-based negotiating culture along with other projects focused on data and analytics. Responsibilities building ground-up cost models, true cost analysis exercises to identify opportunities for waste reduction as well as projects focused on increasing efficiencies. Work will be of a challenging nature involving considerable amount of initiative, high level of independent judgment as well as a collaborative spirit.
The exponential growth of e-commerce coupled with increasing end-customer demand for rapid delivery and an evolving regulatory environment present both an opportunity and challenge for logistics and other commercial companies, who currently don’t have optimal solutions that meet their needs.
With this in mind, GM has established a new BrightDrop business unit that provides an innovative approach to enable the efficient, multimodal movement of goods through an integrated product suite that leverages connected and electrified commercial vans, first to last mile delivery solutions and real-time fleet and asset management services.
In order to meet business objectives, the BrightDrop team is looking for Sales Development Representatives to drive leads and new opportunities to help support bookings and revenue towards the achievement of profitability and growth for the entire BrightDrop portfolio.
Qualify all inbound leads to assess customers business requirements and assess BrightDrop's ability to meet those business requirements
Support sales team by executing account based marketing plans to help penetrate named accounts
Support marketing team in driving attendance and engagement at all marketing events
5+ years of enterprise sales development or business development experience
Proven track record of consistent qualified lead generation creation
Experience in logistics, e-commerce grocery, supply chain, or last mile preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Travel required. Must be able to travel up to 50% within the United States and Canada
Ability to build strong relationships and influence business partners
Strong organization and planning skills
Ability to balance conflicting priorities while maintaining effectiveness
Outstanding oral and written communication skills that involves understanding the audience; getting the message across; presenting information effectively; and communicating openly
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, rapidly evolving industry and organization; comfortable with ambiguity
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM account management applications
