GEPICS/Broadcast Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports Business Plan Deployment / GMS Initiatives
  • Sets up and maintains family address codes and statements in MGO
  • Creates, monitors, modifies, or deletes broadcast codes for manifest/broadcast changes per production build and Engineering Work Orders (EWO) (change broadcast based on break point of EWO)
  • Runs search and find request screens per production, broadcast changes, and containment issues.
  • Sets up and maintains profiles and formats for build documents, run sheets, manifests
  • Responsible for maintaining AAS tables that facilitate information interaction with other production systems in the plant
  • Coordinates and maintains printer and equipment functionality with maintenance and IT team
  • Works with central office to correct errors in non broadcast parts (specification groups)
  • Applies temporary EWO's (TWO's) to broadcast codes as required
  • Monitors & updates communication interruption contingency plan with nearby sequencers/suppliers
  • Responds to production department requests and problems
  • Troubleshoot LMS pick station tablets and TV’s
  • Coordinates production trial runs on parts that are changing manufacturing locations
  • Interacts with electrical engineering team on software changes to ensure vehicles are set up properly and part level match per intent.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of manufacturing experience
  • At least 1 year of creating and maintaining macros
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems such as vehicles specifications
  • Knowledge of the departmental relationship between global supply chain and production as they relate to the manufacturing process
  • Must be willing to rotate shifts
