At General Motors and as part of the Global Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Engineering organization, you will have the opportunity to work in cross functional, inclusive, and high performing teams working on making the future of mobility a reality.
The Global Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Engineering (GPS ME) Prismatic team is responsible for the design, purchasing, and deployment of manufacturing systems for engine, transmission, and electric drive unit components. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer’s will lead the execution of a cylinder block machining system for a new engine architecture; in addition to supporting daily activities within the Prismatic team.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in cast iron manufacturing systems
- Experience in project management of new / major manufacturing system
- Experience working with GM Prismatic Long Term Agreements with OEM's
- Understanding of GM Bill of Process and Bill of Equipment
Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site
full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role
enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as
needed or desired.
Location: Position will be a combined role; offering floor support for manufacturing facilities near Dayton Ohio, as well as remotely supporting activities in the Central Manufacturing team.
This position is not eligible for ISP, ITAP or localizations.
