Our team is looking for a detailed and passionate Java Developer to join us in our mission! As a Java Developer in SDV, your responsibilities include understanding and implementation of the use cases, software design execution and software verification (unit testing/ software integration testing, etc.). We particularly focus using modern software techniques to design optimized software in microservice architecture.

This includes the following:

  • Design and Development of microservices which interact with various Azure resources.
  • Document requirements for design solutions and link them to test cases that can demonstrate software functionality.
  • Diagnose, Debug and resolve software issues.
  • Participate in the integration workshop and work with multi-functional team to build, test and release the robust microservices.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues and departments outside engineering, such as IT, Systems & Safety Engineering, Electrical Architecture, Calibration and Vehicle Performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related technical degree
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience with demonstrated technical and professional skills in Java, C++, Kotlin or related software design, development, and testing
  • Experience designing and developing apps, services using one or more protocols (preferably MQTT or gRPC)
  • Experience designing and developing services in Microservices/Event driven Architecture

Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a related technical field
  • Experience in cloud/Edge Hosting of services and Apps. Interoperability of Apps, services between cloud and Data centers
  • Experience with cloud Development using Azure, Amazon, or Google
  • Experience with GIT/source code management, CI/CD development, open-source SW development/contributor
  • Knowledge of data science, data analytic tools, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI)

Compensation:

The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid in accordance with Colorado law. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of Colorado. The median level of salary compensation for this role is $113,760-$126,756

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
