This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility. Relocation may be provided

A Senior Digital Business Data Architect/Database Developer is responsible and accountable for the transformation and implementation of data models and application components using current database technologies.

Our Senior Data Architect/Database Developers are creative problem solvers involved in close interaction with the entire CORE scrum team, development team leaders, business team members and other members of the extended IT development team. This includes understanding requirements, coding, testing, implementing, process development and governance.  

This position will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders; applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; creating high level design artifacts; delivering high quality code deliverables; assisting with test validation and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.  You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.


Additional Description

Minimal Qualifications

  • 15+ years Software Design and Development experience with a focus on the key Database Technologies
  • 7+ years of experience for designing complex mission critical database systems with high transaction volume, and very large data size.
  • Lead resolution of end to end data issues, data design issues, and end to end data test issues for a specific project
  • Expert knowledge in building, debugging and maintaining mission critical enterprise applications
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Objects, Linux/Unix shell scripting, Debugging, Query Optimization and Performance tuning
  • Demonstrable experience in (project level) Technical Data Architecture:- management, storage, security, access, navigation, movement, transformation of data, test data management, etc.
  • Experience working with data tools & technologies - data modeling, ETL tools, meta data management tools, master data management tools, database technologies and design
  • Experience with analyzing source system data & dataflows and working with structured / unstructured data
  • Knowledge of database modeling, data structure principles, techniques, and best practices
  • Able to influence the teams with his design solutions ideas, and able to have strong executive presentation skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to perform on a high-performance team as an individual Senior Developer and Architect while directing the work of Junior Developers
  • Ability to optimize the performance of code
  • Experience working on teams with a heavy emphasis on DevOps, Automation, CI/CD, and Quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to come up with designs for complex problems.
  • Experience working with Manufacturing or MES domain IT Systems would be a plus
