Supervisor Global Propulsion Systems - Prismatic Manufacturing Engineering


In this role, the primary responsibility is to supervise a prismatic Manufacturing Engineering team.  The supervisor will coordinate the efforts of the team who will:   specify, create Statement of Requirements (SORs) and procure Machining Tooling and Equipment for prismatic programs.  This team will also support the installation of the equipment at various sites.  The team is also responsible for updating the Bill of Process (BOP), Bill of Reuse (BOR) and Bill of Equipment (BOE).

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work with all sites on Asset Sustainment projects
  • Assure that safety is fully considered in all phases of projects
  • Be a working leader
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of leadership

Additional Description

  • 5+ Years of Machining Experience
  • 3+ Years machining experience in a plant
  • Experience as a People Leader preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • References available from recent roles

This position does not require an employee to be on-site 
full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role 
enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as 
needed or desired.  This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-4x per year. 

This position is not eligible for ISP, ITAP or localizations.
