XiL Motorsports Engineer


In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Simulation/DiL Software Lead Engineer to aid in the development of our simulation toolchain for use in our motorsports program. You will help develop the complete toolchain for a standalone simulation tool, starting from R&D to project planning, and implementation of both back and front end.  Must include the use of software best practices. Will lead development of software and hardware solutions for DiL toolchain development. You will have extensive knowledge of deploying highly efficient, RT capable models as FMU’s, and the associated back end programming. Will be required to deliver all projects to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

What you will do:

  • Play a key role in development plan of new simulation toolchain.
  • Lead software development for simulation
  • Lead software development for DiL program and other xIL initiatives
  • Bring new technologies and standards to in house simulation software.

In order to succeed in this challenging role, we are looking for a graduate profile:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or mechanical engineering
  • Interest in xiL solutions, controls HW and SW development
  • 5 years of highly relevant experience gained within a motorsport organization
  • Highly analytical, client-oriented and structured, with excellent relationship and communicative skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment, bringing a strong work ethic and integrity


  • 5 years of xiL (HiL, SiL, DiL) development in motorsport experience
  • NASCAR experience
  • Experience with Concurrent or dSpace Hardware Real-Time Systems
  • Experience with DiL and sDIL hardware
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
