The Software Defined Vehicle will increase the vehicle’s compute capability, be connected, and allow for faster software development cycles. As Manager of Virtual Controller Simulation, you will lead a team on the forefront of realistic automotive software-in-the-loop simulation environments ensuring highly optimized, largely automated, high-fidelity vehicles on demand that can be deployed by the team and are capable of running thousands of simultaneous scenarios on cloud compute.
The simulations support algorithm development of hands-free driving in all situations, active safety features, in-vehicle Infotainment, and embedded control among others. The primary focus of the team you will lead is to design and implement a build pipeline for software-in-the-loop high-fidelity virtual controllers, bus communication, hardware and peripheral drivers for multiple vehicle configurations that can be run at scale on cloud compute. You will be working cross-collaboratively with many teams to integrate these systems into a wider CI/CD toolchain and data analytics pipeline.
