Develops controls test plans and procedures. Supports Technical Review Board by developing test procedures to accurately test controls software. Develops automated test procedures that can be run on the HIL and vehicle. Execute verification and validation testing on time and with quality to meet program teams. Collaborates with other Controller Test Engineers and shares best practices. Collaborates with algorithm design development engineers, technical specialists, and calibrators to improve controls algorithms. Creates and validation and verification tests to ensure designs are of high quality. Supports issue resolution. Develops and documents requirements required to design an automotive system. Designs and manages key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies. Oversees requirements development with other activities. Provides support to other specialists for root cause analysis. Captures and analyzes empirical data. Designs tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements. Identifies and documents system vulnerabilities and crafts mitigation action plans. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to listed local office.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field and two years of experience as a Product Engineer, Validation Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: Developing software in high-level programming language, such as C; Propulsion control systems; Chassis control systems, including driveline, brakes, and aero features; HiL benches, Simulink, Stateflow, ETAS INCA, and Vehicle Spy; and Python.
