Job Responsibilities:

The Robotics Controls engineering position will include the design, build, and troubleshooting of electrical control or robotic systems for machinery and equipment that manufacture best-in-class and tech-forward vehicles.

  • Apply your technical expertise in order to deliver exceptional vehicles that inspire customer loyalty

  • Implement standards and procedures as you work with automation system suppliers to coordinate machine modification needs with engineering and maintenance

  • Develop, debug, and troubleshoot control logic programs or robot programs along with other related functions at either the supplier or plant site

Additional Description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience or training

  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of PLC work experience (Controls Engineer)

  • Controls experience in manufacturing environment (Controls Engineer)

  • PLC experience with ladder logic, and schematics (Controls Engineer)

  • Robot programming and integration in manufacturing environment (Robot Engineer)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ Fanuc robot setup, programming, and troubleshooting (Robot Engineer)

  • Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley

  • Mechatronics degree or training a benefit
